Blue Hill at Stone Barns – Finalement!

Birthday luncheon at Stone Barns – idyllic, if slightly rainy, Sunday afternoon on a wonderful farm filled with the sights and sounds of good food and good cooking.

Hi there future lunch/dinner.

Tempura wax beans, mini tomato burgers and a chilled gazpacho consomme – the pick of the farm’s summer vegetables.

Cozy.

Baby zucchini with a sesame crust.  Fennel sausage and bresaola.

Hake with heirloom tomatoes with pesto oil and sundried tomatoes.

Berkshire pork chops with summer corn and local grains.

Birthday dessert surprise – local cheesecake!

Beignets with peaches, blueberries and vanilla ice cream.

Riding tractors is fun.

Baby chicks in their playpen/home.
