Menswear Clothing Envy

If I were a man, (not as Beyonce suggests, a boy), I would shop here: Apolis.

I love their globally minded aesthetic, in a way that recalls dapper, gentlemen photographers with both feet firmly planted in the modern world.  But what sets them apart is their socially minded approach to fashion consumption.  These jackets, bags, sweaters, belts etc… all stand on their own in the fashion world, but they are also crafted by different collectives in countries from Bangladesh to Uganda to help rebuild these local economies.

Mostly bag envy from Filson:

The global traveler’s essentials: (noted: Monocole)

It’s sad to see the words “there’s nothing in your shopping cart” but I’m afraid that I’m not quite in a position to be purchasing menswear for myself at that price.  Or womenswear for that matter.  But it doesn’t hurt to look.  :)
