JR’s TED Prize Wish: Use Art to Turn the World Inside Out

Moving, smart, funny – everything TED is, and inspires.

“Can art change the world?”  French artist JR takes a generic essay question and turns it into a thoughtful look at global perceptions, using art to change the way people perceive the world around them using paper and glue.  As he puts it, he’s not so much pushing the boundaries, but changing our perception of where the boundaries actually lie.

March 8th 2011 is International Women’s Day.  Here’s to art changing the world.
