Hot Pot @ Home

My favorite at home meal during the winter – Chinese hot pot, which is similar to shabu-shabu if you’re familiar with the Japanese version.

House rules for hot pot:

The pot is split into 2 sides: one meat, one seafood

Sriracha is aplenty

We drink wine when we have hot pot.

Noodles and cabbage are always at the end of the meal.

A glass of orange juice helps to refresh your palate/appetite during the meal.

Boiling water kills germs.  Family style = double dipping allowed.
