Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving 2010 – A Gallery

It almost seemed like the end of an era, almost all grown up, with the last of us grandkids in college, another on the brink of moving to California.

Feasting.  As always, the food is spread out at the grownup table and us kids are sitting around the tv.  Some things were never meant to change.

They find me (or my photography skills) funny.  Mostly they want me to stop taking photos.

Father and son.  I wonder what eyebrows I will inherit at age 60.

The apple tart.  Slightly burnt but wonderfully and deliciously so.  Extra caramelization.

When I responded yes to my grandfather’s questions about my drinking habits, he playfully exclaimed, “Shame on you!”  But who’s holding the wine bottle now Grandfather?

Another Thanksgiving, another year past.

Dessert + coffee + tea.

Here my sister and my grandmother are sporting identical leopard spotted coats and identical expressions.
