Weekend Highlights

Friday: Bocce with BLBC and a Keri Russell sighting in Brooklyn!

Saturday: Tonkotsu Ramen, more World Cup, Double Feature in the East Village with L. because what’s better on a humid summer day/night than sitting in an air-conditioned theater watching summer flicks?  NADA.  Toy Story 3 (gotta love Rex: “He smells like strawberries!”), Get Him to the Greek (Stroke the furry wall), buttermilk fried chicken and a gimlet at Sidecar – all absolutely delicious and amazing and hit the spot perfectly

Sunday: the Argentina v. Mexico game at Black Horse Pub, Smith Street Fair and Stinkfest and The Woes, too hot to trot = sushi delivery

(This man is smiling directly into the camera.  I do not know him.  He does not know me.  I think he’s just overwhelmed by the awesomeness of the bubbles and the moment)

And I’m spent – good thing Fourth of July weekend is a-coming!  Fingers crossed for Friday off…
