Uniqlo: Japan Size

I bought two pairs of Uniqlo jeans last week – one made for Americans and the other specified as “Japan Size”.  Which is as follows:

“This product has been made to Japanese specifications and is therefore a little smaller than normal.  We recommend that you try it on for size.”

Vaguely insulting – but true.  The store also sells protective shirts against UV rays.
